"Although the Lantern Light Inn is located on one of Sedona's main streets,
you'd never know it once you've pulled into the circular drive. Is this Sedona,
or a French country garden?
An ivy-covered wrought-iron gate gives way to a bricked courtyard strung
with tiny white lights, and bedecked with verbena, geraniums and petunias.
The interior decor recalls the French countryside as well: mahogany antiques,
oriental rugs, wingback chairs, lamps with leaded glass shades and flowers
spilling from tall vases. It's charming. So are innkeepers Ed an Kris
Varjean, who use the almonds and crab apples from the trees on the premises
in the breakfasts they serve their guests. In addition to two guest rooms
and a suite, a two-bedroom guest house includes a complete kitchen and
covered patio with private garden."
